Reopening
At Grace UMC, we are gradually re-opening in order to keep our more vulnerable congregation members safe. We are currently in the caution stage of re-opening. This means that we can host up to 25% of our sanctuary’s capacity as long as those in attendance are wearing masks and social distancing.
We have a number of opportunities during this phase:
1. We will continue our weekly live-streamed worship service on Sunday mornings at 10 am
2. We will host Thursday Night Live on Thursday evenings at 7:30pm
This will allow for a small audience to be present when we record our worship service. If you are interested in attending, we ask that you make a reservation by contacting Pastor Faith or the church office. Attendees will be required to wear a mask and social distance.
3. We will host a livestream viewing on Sunday mornings
These events are meant for those who do not have the capacity to watch our service online at home. We also ask that those who wish to attend make a reservation by contacting Pastor Faith or the church office. Again, attendees will be required to wear a mask and social distance.
4. More services will be added during the months of July and August
- On July 12th at 10 am, we will have another Drive-In Service. Those attending may remain in their vehicles to listen over their radio or bring a lawn chair to sit near the stage area.
- On July 26th at 10 am, we are having a Garden Party Service. This will be held by the community garden behind the church. Please bring your own lawn chair and a bag lunch.
5. We are hopeful that August will allow us further reopening
We will continue opening up as it is safe to do so. Watch for further details
